I'm not a fan of genderswap because I like the characters the way they are, but if I do read it I want both to be swapped. I read mostly Teen Wolf fic these days and there are so many where Stiles is swapped. The tag will be 'alwaysagirl!Stiles' or 'cisgirl!Stiles'. I think I've come across maybe two fics where Derek was the one swapped and only one where both were swapped.

I was thinking of Teen Wolf, actually. There IS a lot of Derek/f!Stiles, idk why people don't switch Derek as well. I'd be more likely to read it that way.

(However, yea, I have a difficult time imagining the characters when they're genderswapped because I'm so used to thinking of the way they look in canon and it's weird for me.)

...I only write one-half of a pairing genderswapped per fic, but I alternate from fic to fic. I dunno why, I just find it interesting.

I'm not in Teen Wolf, though. Derek is the uberbuff guy, I take it?

Hey man, whatever you like! There's obviously an audience for it, so you aren't alone. That sort of genderswap does it for a lot of people.

Derek is indeed the uberbuff guy, lol. Maybe that's why I'm so disappointed that he doesn't get genderswapped more; Derek could be a pretty girl, too!

Yeah I won't read genderswap fic. I can enjoy artwork for it, but if it's a fandom I'm actually into-into, I don't even really like that.
