What is this game about? It looks interesting.

On the surface, it's almost literally Final Fantasy V redux. World is decaying, heroes searching for crystals to restore it, vague forces that seek to prevent the restoration for as-yet-uncertain reasons, gameplay based around a complex class system that characters can be freely swapped around in . . . The difference is one of theme. FFV was about the passing of the old guard and the coming of new heroes. BD is about orders--following orders, disobeying orders, and the consequences of both. It's an interesting subject for a JRPG to take on.

Hmm, I'm not so fond of searching for macguffins but the rest sounds like something I would like.

Macguffins make up a whole chunk of the game, as much as I like it. I was aware beforehand, but it would require patient or veteran gamers.
