They censored some of the outfits the main characters wore. But only really slightly. I've seen the comparison art. Personally, I'm glad and find the changes entirely appropriate. Tastes are different in different countries.

If you try the demo you'll know if you like it pretty quickly. The gameplay is similar but the demo is a complete little game in itself. I was impressed by how they did it. If you play the demo and then the game, the game has entirely new content from the start. You're not just replaying the demo for the first 1/2 hour of the game (like the Ace Attorney Dual Destinies demo did, which I expected but it was still tedious).

I'll try it later tonight and know for sure.

The DD demo was different from the beginning of the full game though. It was even a spoiler-free demo as far it went, which was unexpected and rather clever at keeping the circumstances where Phoenix leads the cross-examination under wrap.

The best bit about the DD demo was when Judgey got all meta and suddenly said to the prosecutor/lawyer 'well, this case better not be that long because demos are usually quite short, aren't they?' I laughed out loud in suprise.

It was good at not spoiling the actual first case. But it still felt like I was replaying the first 15 minutes. grumblegrumblegrumble
