I'll try it later tonight and know for sure.

The DD demo was different from the beginning of the full game though. It was even a spoiler-free demo as far it went, which was unexpected and rather clever at keeping the circumstances where Phoenix leads the cross-examination under wrap.

The best bit about the DD demo was when Judgey got all meta and suddenly said to the prosecutor/lawyer 'well, this case better not be that long because demos are usually quite short, aren't they?' I laughed out loud in suprise.

It was good at not spoiling the actual first case. But it still felt like I was replaying the first 15 minutes. grumblegrumblegrumble
