She was always representative of the CRAZY side of fandom, though.

Charlie is probably the closest. She definitely seems to represent fan-culture, even though it isn't exactly Supernatural fan culture.

Yes but there is a difference between being a slash writing, fangirl and being a "kidnap you and force you into marriage" fangirl. They changed her into Annie Wilkes.

There's still a huge difference between "kind of insane but with hearts in basically the right place" which she was before the wedding episode, and how she was portrayed in the wedding episode. It's a very different kind of crazy.

The writers were making fun of the "crazy" fangirls, not the cool ones like us...? Is this like jokes about hairy lesbian feminists?
