That should actually be called "churrasco gaúcho" because the rest of the country does it differently and ours is more like how they do it in Argentina and Uruguay, where they also have people called gauchos.
National level, probably brigadeiro. And a fave from another region that became national, pão de queijo. They're #2 and #3 on this list:
