I had those worries too even though I was in a similar position. Even after coming out to her, I still have trouble talking to my mom about things that involve my girlfriend because I just feel weird about it. I don't really have any advice but I can relate.

Just remember that you are under no obligation to come out. If you think you will feel better if you don't have to worry about it anymore then go ahead and do it (that's why I ended up doing it) but if the risk feels too great, even if you know that objectively it probably won't be as bad as it is for a lot of people, no one should put pressure on you to do it.

Yeah, I'm just afraid I won't be able to talk to my mom the same as before once I get a girlfriend.

Thanks for the advice. I know I'm going to have to come out eventually, but I think I'll just keep it a secret for now.
