I'm self conscious about my pubic hair (i'm a girl). I don't shave, though if I have a date or something I do trim it short and "sculpt" a little. But that's not the problem. My pubic hair naturally grows on my inner upper thighs, a quarter down my leg. It's not curly or anything, but it's a lot thicker and darker than my leg hair. I honestly don't shave my upper legs often, only in the summer or if I have a date, and hate dealing with scratchy hair. I feel ugly about it, though.

I also have one beard(?) hair that grows under my chin. There's not a mole or anything, just exactly one hair that grows dark and super long if I don't pluck it. Luckily, no one really looks under your jaw so it isn't visible, and I do pluck it, but it's weird.

I have the same with leg/pubic hair. I also have a 'happy trail' and more than just one under chin hair. :( What's weird is I don't shave anything and am really comfortable with that, but for some reason my weird upper inner thigh hair is the one thing I'm really really uncomfortable about so I only wear knee length skirts of longer boy shorts.

My hair gets a little darker under my belly button, and thicker, but it's not really a trail. I've shave my belly button area before, but mostly I don't care. It's really the upper inner thigh hair that I feel the worst about. My other body hair is not too bad (besides the aforementioned chin hair) - my arm hair is really thin and blonde, I love it, but my legs are darker brown. Still not anything I couldn't manage. but I was worried the thigh pubic hair thing was super unnatural or something, glad I'm not the only one.

Only one chin hair? Lol. I have quite a few to keep plucked. No way are you alone in your hair consciousness.

You're not alone in your hairiness. I have PCOS, and I grow hair everywhere. Not just the thigh pubic hair, but a happy trail, hair on my breasts (more than just the occasional hair), and enough stray chin hairs to form a partial beard. Hairiness happens, and it's nothing to be ashamed of. :)

I also have exactly one dark hair that grows on my chin! I don't actually mind it, but I compulsively pluck hairs so I end up plucking it anyway.

My pubic hair isn't like that, but I have multiple dark hairs under my chin that I pluck regularly. I don't feel like an ogre because many, many women have hair in weird places and shave/wax/pluck it (especially in any kind of formal appearance, or public appearance, or magazine, or anything under the spotlight in any way) so you're inclined not to think it's normal but I really, really think it is normal.

I also have the one chin hair! I used to think it was so weird, but now for some reason I look forward to when I get to pluck it (tactile thing, I guess, since I just keep pulling at it with my fingers until it comes out... Okay, now I'm getting into TMI).

And my pubic hair doesn't go down quite as far as yours, but it does grow on my inner thighs a bit, and like one of the anons above, I too have a happy trail. So don't worry, you're normal!
