First of all, stop washing with soap or any feminine hygiene products you might be using. It seems counterintuitive, but it destroys all the natural flora that actually keep your vagina clean. When you bathe or shower try to rinse with just water.

Second of all, dry or cracked skin can actually be a symptom of a yeast infection. If ceasing to use products to clean yourself doesn't work, you can try an over the counter cream and see if that helps.

Maybe a symptom of dehydration? Drink more water. I know I get crazy dry skin when I slack on the water intake.

That sounds super uncomfortable, you have my sympathies.

And if it's a symptom of yeast infection like herpymcderp suggested, plain yogurt shoved on up there is a good solution. Freeze it and it's extra soothing!

I like things in porn and porny fics that are the opposite of what I like in real life. And I'm not sure what to do with that.

There is also the fact that while on a moral level I have problems as a woman with how exploitive porn is, I get really turned on by the kind of stuff I have a problem with (het porn where the only focus is the man's pleasure, lesbian porn that is clearly male gazy, kinky stuff without safewords)

Really not sure what to do with that. Those things are an instant turn-off during actual sex, and I don't fantasize about them, but yet they turn me on in visual or written form.

Try saying this:

We need a greater range of pornography than just this narrow male-gaze stuff. Sure, it's fine for those who like it, but to pretend that this is the be-all and end-all of human desire is just plain silly, and its dominance as the assumed "norm" in porn perpetuates a lot of harmful old ideas. It can be better appreciated as the fantasy it is when it exists within a context of many different kinds of fantasy.

How's that sit with you? Would that be a position you're comfortable taking? Still leaves room for you and all the other folks who dig it, but acknowledges that folks like me, who do not dig it, are being underserved.

If it helps, I really love porny fics and certain types of porn but in 'real life' I am 100% asexual and have zero interest in sex or any sexual relationship. Sometimes fantasy has very little to do with anything in reality.

I saw a comment on here once comparing it to liking h/c or angst fic. You don't have any interest in torture or whatever, but you still get satisfaction from reading those types.

I can tell you from experience that fics/stories/porn often exaggerate how much prep is needed for anal sex. It really depends on the person. But I think half of it is because people find foreplay is hot.

And on the other hand, some porn makes it out as if no prep (or lube) is necessary at all. Ouch.

I'm self conscious about my pubic hair (i'm a girl). I don't shave, though if I have a date or something I do trim it short and "sculpt" a little. But that's not the problem. My pubic hair naturally grows on my inner upper thighs, a quarter down my leg. It's not curly or anything, but it's a lot thicker and darker than my leg hair. I honestly don't shave my upper legs often, only in the summer or if I have a date, and hate dealing with scratchy hair. I feel ugly about it, though.

I also have one beard(?) hair that grows under my chin. There's not a mole or anything, just exactly one hair that grows dark and super long if I don't pluck it. Luckily, no one really looks under your jaw so it isn't visible, and I do pluck it, but it's weird.
