Other folks have offered some good suggestions, but I would also stress to get some protein in you, and some amount of carbs, because if you load yourself up with sugar and none of that, you will end up crashing hard. Even someone who doesn't normally have glycemic issues can have that happen if they load up too much sugar with nothing to balance it.

My personal suggestion would be peanut butter and whatever form of sugar you prefer (jelly, honey, bananas) sandwiches, because they are a great combination of protein, carbs, and sugar. This is something I've used for getting myself out of a glycemic crash before.
