Um, fairybread, which is basically just sprinkles (hundreds and thousands) on buttered white bread, often cut into triangles. That might exist outside Australia for all I know.

Aside from that I can't think of anything except, like, Freddos and Caramello Koalas.

All of those things except the koalas are British as well though, aren't they?

AYRT - nope. Cadbury itself is British, but Freddo frogs were invented in Australia and are sold by its Australian branch (though for all I know they may now be sold elsewhere).

Fairy bread is definitely from Aus and NZ according to Wiki, but again, may be popular in other places also ://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairy_bread

Vegemite? I don't know of anyone other than Australians who willingly eat & enjoy the stuff.

True enough, but it's sold outside Australia.

That's probably also because foreigners tend to slather it on, which anyone would hate.

Which reminds me, what about saos and crispbread? Would they be found anywhere other than here and New Zealand?

We have Saos here in Aus.

I'm not sure what you mean by crispbread. Is that like Cruskits?

AYRT - yeah, I'm in Aus too, I was wondering if they were sold outside here or NZ. :)

I think so? I haven't tried Cruskits as such, but they're things you spread peanut butter and Vegemite and vegies and stuff on them - but they're not Melba toasts, they're kinda long and thin. :)

I love vegemite! I cook with it all the time to give my vegetarian proteins a beefy flavour.

Mmmm yeah. Tim Tams gained a hold anywhere else?

Also, kangaroo meat in supermarkets is probably not all that common anywhere else. Especially kangaroo tails in the meat section in Alice Springs. Or crocodile outside of northern Australia.

Yeah, Tim Tams are sold in a lot of places, I think. They've caught on really well in Japan.

Freddos are sold in the UK. As were Taz bars which were basically the same (according to Wikipedia, a UK only variant).

Both have a shocking amount of calories for their size.
