Has no one said Tiger and Bunny yet?! Not canon. But soooo implied. When Tiger's in Barnaby's arms, almost dead, pretty sure he says something like "You have long eyelashes" or something.

He does! I was like "No, Kotetsuuu- But, waitasec, what did you say?" And Barnaby responds by saying that Kotetsu can't die- he has to eat the fried rice Barnaby has been learning to make. What is that, man? Loved it.

Yes!! Pretty sure Kotetsu calls Barnaby pretty at one point too? I don't know. I don't think they are possibly not gay. Well, Kotetsu might be bisexual, maybe Barnaby, too, but... their relationship just has so much flirting and bonding in canon, I can't!

Kotetsu and Barnaby are fucking ridiculous and I can barely believe the series ended the way it did without those two becoming canon. As far as I'm concerned the only reason they aren't a couple is that both of them are shit at discussing their relationship and are too scared to take the first step. There have only been a couple of times where I legitimately thought a (slash) pairing I shipped was going to become canon, but Kotetsu's 'death scene' was one of those.

IIRC Kotetsu has called Barnaby 'pretty' or implied as much at least two times, and then there was that whole bit where Barnaby 'forgot' Kotetsu and Kotetsu's desperation and lose of hope at Barnaby's forgetfuless, and then the crying and the hugging, the hugging, everything about those two (especially near the end of the series) read as more than friends.

Wasn't there a bit in the episode with the baby where one of them looks at the other with utter adoration on their face? I swear something like this happened... I really need to go back and watch it.

Plus, how much Barnaby trusted Kotetsu with his secret, and his life. The way Barnaby came back for Kotetsu at the end sealed the deal for me; they were partners in every sense of the word!

(A part of me if afraid of the 2nd film, but I want to know how those two were separated. How/why were they separated and how can they stand to be apart after everything they've been through; I need to know!)

NAYRT, but this is *exactly* how I feel about it. My pie in the sky dreams of canon K/B romance aside, I felt like the series ended kind of perfectly so while I'd like more T&B, I'm sort of scared of what's going to happen in the movie. I'd just hate it if they broke up for good.

If they broke up for good it would ruin my happy T&B feelings and screw with my headcanon and I would be FURIOUS. However, whatever the reason, I think it must be a good one, or there's more to the story than what we're seeing. No matter what I'm willing to bet that Kotetsu and Barnaby are back together by the end of the film and more in sync than ever. Anything else would be unthinkable.
