awake
Who else is in place where already late to be sleeping, but you're still awake?
Or, what do you do when you can't sleep?
Re: awake
If that doesn't work, I do breathing exercises and tighten my muscles in intervals until that tires me out. Pretty sure there's a legitimate name for this, but I can't remember it for the life of me.
Re: awake
It's funny, if I read, when I begin to feel tired, my mind will keep spinning around what was just read. I lay there, thinking about the book and can not sleep as a result. I wish that method worked for me, as I think I would get more reading done and much more sleep as well. But I'm glad it works for you!
Re: awake
And I usually read articles and non-fiction stuff for the reason you mentioned. (National Geographic's my go to, actually.) Story narratives will keep me up until finish them or wear out.
Re: awake
But my solution will be to finish this glass of wine, have a shower, have another glass of wine and hopefully fall asleep.
