Every now and again people on your dash switch fandoms or interests. and sometimes you don't want to unfollow either because they are a friend, they post something you love (art, fic, whatever), or they don't post that much of that annoying thing.

But this means you see other fandom drama sometimes. and that can be annoying or hilarious depending on how many times you see it.

What have you seen??

I saw a SnK dub clip jump from a couple hundred notes to a thousand in a matter of minutes.

Happily, nothing.
Occasionally we get some people in one of my tags post fake doll prototypes, but we all just laugh.

Hannibal is apparently down in viewers....scroll scroll...we may have Korra news soon, most people have given up on the comics....

My dash is pretty much the same as yours, I follow pretty cool people.

On the Hannibal thing, I had to stop myself from commenting on it and causing more drama...

I saw someone who, until this point, seemed like an awesome [and yes, social justice aware - but not in a SJW way]go into complete SJW mode because someone dared to point out that 1. There are different types of racism and 2. That, you know, racism in one part of the world =/= racism somewhere else [AKA: What's got racist connotations in the US doesn't always have those connotations else where.] It was particularly drama-queeny with how he both said "Well, anyone from -group that's not been around for several hundred years- that's offended is free to message me! [sarcasm intended, and fully implying that the people who pointed that out were wrong]" and "Everyone who unfollowed me after that must be racists!"

After which I did unfollow, because yeah no. Still, it was drama filled and I was said to see someone that, until that point, had been awesome go that way.

That could have been me (it wasn't, but it could have been, if you were on my dash). Thinking you can do something on the Internet because "It's not racist where I live!" when you know that on the Internet there are people from places where it is (extra fun fact: it probably is racist where you live, too, it's just socially acceptable racism) is never an excuse.

People whining about how Hannibal's ratings are down. And begging people to OMG WATCH IT! YOU DON'T EVEN GOTTA WATCH IT JUST PLAY IT IN THE BACKGROUNDDDD!

No. If the show can't get enough viewers, it can't get enough viewers. Don't beg on Tumblr about it.

Similarly that thing a while back when one of the dudes on Supernatural insulted Justin Bieber and his fans threatened to boycott the show, so Tumblr fans ask everyone else to watch the newest episode. It was really pathetic.

...Nothing, lol. Well, I am sort of worried about Ground Zeroes spoilers but I've only seen posts warning that spoilers are floating around, so I've been lucky so far. Hopefully no one on my dash caves and reblogs them...

Fun fact: female hockey fans are always fighting. Always.

And the usual Pokemon players complaining about Smogon and competitive battling. I just laugh and move on now.

It's "everybody reblog that dumbass essay about how evil Kill La Kill is" week on my dash. These are the same people who reblog the latest OMG GUYS THIS IS SERIOUS post and the accompanying debunk post ~24 hours later. Sigh.

People not tagging or mistagging a couple fandoms so I can block them is about the only thing that comes to mind, but that's not THAT bad. No drama or wank that I've seen lately!

Mostly just those "reblog if you believe in equality/gay marriage/womens rights/etc - if you don't reblog you are evil/I am judging you/I will unfollow/etc". My dash doesn't seem to get them too often but it seems like there's constantly a round of them lately.

Nothing much really, the Hannibal fandom has picked up some speed again and I've seen one or two posts about the viewership of the show dropping or something but it's not something I pay so much attention to.

Not fandom-y, but a person on my dash went full-on SJW for a while and I had to unfollow her due to the posts clogging up my dash. The bad thing is that she also reblogs a lot of good stuff so I'm hoping it's just a phase of hers and soon things will be back to normal.

Nothing that I'm aware of, granted I haven't checked out today's posts specifically so I'm sure something has happened. Yesterday it was mostly some comic about following your dreams and money will follow - comic irritated me and outright pissed off some ppl I follow.

That's it.

Eta: Now that I'm home, there appears to be the teeny tiniest of racism wank in Dishonored!fandom. Doesn't even count as wank, just a minor essay against racism and I'm not sure as to the reason. This ends your 'Caerbannog's dashboard wank' tour, please check no belongings are left behind and depart loudly.
