I think it's just because I've had so many people do the whole "OMG, IT'S SO AWESOME, YOU MUST WATCH IT!" thing at me that it just...completely ruined any interest I might have had in it.

Yup. It seems like it could be fun but I find the madcapness of it all somewhat annoying.
