Am I the only one who's noticed a lack of these threads lately? I miss them. How are you?

I am having a very emotionally bad day (nothing bad has happened, I've just been grumpy and short tempered and sad) so I think I'm going to go to bed early and just sleep the bad mood away.

I have a temp job that starts tomorrow, so I'm a combination of happy, very stressed, and trying to fight the urge to binge-shop, since it'll only be for a couple of weeks and I don't know how long it'll be til I get another one.

My new writing class is going well.

I don't really know why but I'm kind of mad. I woke up this morning and I couldn't stop thinking about my mother and how she died and how I don't ever want to lose my sister. Finally, I watched something on TV to get my mind off of it. I started feeling pretty good about just being alive and then, half an hour ago, I started getting mad.

I'm feeling great! A little annoyed at the winter storm headed my way in the middle of March, but I am loving (and feeling very appreciated at) my job, and I'm headed to warmer climes later this week. So life is pretty good.

I see these threads all the time! I made one last night. (Well, it was a "how is your day" thread. Maybe that's not quite the same?)

I'm doing well. Actually starting to focus on one of the papers I have to write even though it's pretty boring so I'm having trouble keeping that focus. The weather today was gorgeous (I wish it weren't supposed to drop so much tomorrow), and I had a really productive session with my counselor. Still really looking forward to con this weekend :D

Both good and bad. On the right trajectory with my life, but made some stupid decisions. Not enjoying my classes as much this quarter and dealing with some serious insomnia. And I have the dentist tomorrow. Joy.

I am just tired of everything lately, I don't have patience for things I usually overlook or don't care about.

Quite often I delete comments after I wrote them because I see how mean and angry they actually are. It isn't that my comments are personal attacks or that I don't feel I am correct, it is just that they are a lot harsher than what I usually write. I don't know how to stop so I am barely commenting or interacting with anyone because I don't want to start any drama or cause wank...

On a positive note it only extends to my internet life?

Edit: Real life is good, just busy if anyone was wondering about that.

I'm teaching myself SketchUp. Today I redesigned my mudroom and designed a shelving system for it.

I still have a lot to figure out, but I feel good about it so far.

Chagrined by my own hubris in Dark Souls II. As a veteran of the series I just waltzed through the first large area of the game without dying... ...but wound up nowhere near high enough level to take on the area boss as a result, and have just been smacked down so many times in a row it's embarrassing. Worse, death is extremely punitive in this game, even moreso than in the first one.

Got my driving license today, and was called in to help extra at work so I had the opportunity to drive. Ridiculously happy about finally having it even though I won't have a car of my own.

Yes. Because they're here pretty much every day.

I've been sick. Slept pretty much all of Monday. Haven't done anything today. Worst part is, it's my weekend, so it's not even like I'm getting time off work. I'm just sick on my weekend.

Got a rejection letter from a school today - that makes two rejections total and no acceptance letters yet. Feeling pretty shitty and my self esteem pretty much plummeted. :-/ trying to distract myself but my mind keeps going back to it.

I procrastinated all of Feb, so now I'm going into crochet overdrive to finish a dress for Emerald City ComicCon at the end of the month.

My schedule right now is wake up, crochet on the bus to work, work, crochet on the way to activity/home, eat dinner while crocheting, comment on internet stuff (max 30min), watch movie/TV while crocheting, sleep, repeat.

WHY DID I PUT THIS OFF I KNEW THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN ARGH

I'm online late because the entire Top End of Australia (excepting those who had generators and adequate stocks of fuel) was without power most of today. Happy birthday to me. I'm exhausted cos it was too hot to sleep, but now I have beautiful internet and fans and hot food.
