what the title says -- those tumblrs that claim to be social justice-centered but are almost too fucking loopy to be real (poe's law in action, of course)

fuckingsassysprinkles is my current favourite, though erasingprivilege was pretty good not too long ago (they're the ones who argued that the doge meme was racist)

There was one I really liked about how Homestuck was evil/from the devil, but I have no idea if it's still active. It was a couple years ago, at least. I don't remember what it was called but I'll see if I can find it.

ETA: oh goodness, Fucking Sassy Sprinkles is completely off her rocker. I hope that one's fake. Hope emphatically.

There was that one awhile ago about sexism or something that kept linking to FS secrets discussion as example of horrible sexism in fandom...or something. But every post they made was just so stupid and missed really obvious real complaints that I can only assume they were some kind of elaborate troll.

I really want to believe this is a parody as they post so many lies about celebs; easily checkable ones as well. I'd rather they were trolls than just malicious and stupid. But then I've always been optimistic.

I mostly heard about them after the John Green debacle, and... yeah. I don't even like John Green very much, but shit son, you have to back up a second before you accuse a YA author who frequently attends events with teens of sexually assaulting someone with zero proof other than a fourth hand story about someone who said that he touched her shoulder and made her feel uncomfortable.

There used to be a tumblr called "forfuturereferenceonly" that really was too loopy to be real (and you could see the inconsistencies if you looked at ten pages in one sitting). Turns out it was, in fact, a massive Poe the creator was using to study (seriously; I think they were really in academia) how people responded to blogs like that. A blog full of data to eventually be studied. For future reference only, if you will.

I always thought that was a brilliant name.

I always hope that otherkin/multiple system/fictionkin/transethnic etc. tumblrs are all trolls. I mean, sure, there probably some who are that delusional and in some cases, it's mostly the 21st century version of having an imaginary friend for the tumblr kiddies but the trouble is: The few who actually think that way are so OTT already that it gets really hard to tell "real" from "troll".

Same goes for the really overzealous SJW blogs. I honestly can't tell tumblr's social satire from the real deal anymore because the real deal people are so OTT all the time that they seem to satirise themselves.
