Dear certain students at my school: Life isn't law school. Every discussion or debate doesn't necessitate legal-level proof or citing of cases to back up your point. When you demand those things from the other person and they ignore you, that doesn't mean you won the argument. Really.

Seriously. I don't get it. I'm in law school, and I'm perfectly capable of making a legal argument in the right context. That doesn't mean I think every discussion is a legal argument, though.
