I can't tell if you're trolling or just really dense. When people say "OC" they are not referring to all characters ever created, they are referring specifically to fancharacters. No one ever uses the term OC to refer to non-fancharacters. It means "Original Character", yes, but to say it applies to ALL characters is to be too literal-minded. Because as you said, all characters are someone's original character, therefore when not used to refer to non-fancharacters the term OC becomes entirely redundant. So from the context in which it's used it should obvious that "OC" is meant to only refer to fancharacters.

Defend OCs if you will, but don't be such a pedantic fucking tool about it.
