Cap's new haircut in the TWS makes me incredibly sad. I liked this on him dammit!

I just don't like the new, more modern-style haircut on Steve. It doesn't suit him. I mean, it looks fine (largely because Chris Evans is a very, very pretty man), but the classic 1940s cut was flattering and helped to underscore his man out of time status.

(I choose to headcanon that he went to get a haircut and the stylist gave him the most popular cut for modern guys and Steve didn't argue about it 'cause he's too polite for that, but he secretly hates it. It doesn't look like him.)

Seriously. I mean, I agree, it doesn't look bad (is it even possible for Chris Evans to look bad? Because I don't believe it is), but it's just... No. So much no.

(Can I borrow your headcanon? Because i like it, and I think it's a lot better then the idea of him just cutting it for kicks.)

It's just a style that doesn't suit the character as well as that classic forties look, although I was more distracted by Natasha's hair. Step away from the flatiron, 'Tasha!

(Go right ahead. Hell, I'm considering ficcing it.)

I'm convinced that she did that to her hair so she could tell anyone that might recognize from TA that "no I'm not the Black Widow, but she's super cool! I tried to get her hairstyle, but my hairdresser messed it up", and get away without anyone connecting the dots. |D
