Educate yourself. Some of us have a lot of problems being attracted to real people because of our issues, fictional characters can be a safe space for us with no triggers because in my case fictional characters can't rape me so I feel safe fantasizing about them. Excuse me if I can't be a a non pathetic adult.

you acknowledge yourself that you have a problem, stop trying to make excuses for it
