Hahahahaha, anime purists who think the anatomy and shit was good in the original anime. Sorry, no, it was just as fucked up as the manga.

Complaining about the anatomy in the manga does not mean that the original anime didn't have fucked up artwork too.

Except a lot of people are denying that the anime had pretty fucked up anatomy and designs, too.

There's a difference between stylized anatomy that works and stylized anatomy that doesn't. When people talk about anatomy in animation they're often really talking about pleasing designs.

I'd say the anime had both anatomy that worked and didn't, it really depended on the season and who was animating that day.

I actually disliked most of the anime's artwork, but I love the manga. The manga had a softness to it when it needed to, whereas the softness in the anime always felt forced. So, different strokes.
