(Anonymous) 2014-03-18 03:02 am (UTC)(link)The only fandoms I've seen that really seem to have a "one true genderbent character" are Teen Wolf (Stiles) and the Thor movies (Loki). And Loki's a special case since he can and has canonically assumed a female form.

2) I'm still curious as to what fandoms you're in that you've noticed this particular trend. You don't have to name all of them if you're concerned about outing yourself, but even just two or three examples would be very interesting, since, as I said, I've only seen it myself in Teen Wolf and Thor.
