I already hate the hairstyles for Captain America 2

For Steve and Nat/Chris Evans and ScarJo.

Their hair in Avengers - Steve's 1940's style hair, Natasha's short 'do - were fucking fantastic! They were sweet hairstyles on damn badass people and did a wonderful job of subtly adding to their characters.

The ones for CA2 look like they were pulled out of a "popular youth haircuts" catalog, and honestly just does not mesh with their characters at all, and only barely works with their looks/appearances as it.

I really don't like seeing long hair on action heroines, unless it's tied back in a bun. I mean, it's just impractical to leave something that can get grabbed or caught more easily, block your view, and require more maintenance.

I can kind of see Natasha in particular leaving her hair down for a fight - she'd have to get used to it in the first place if she ever had to fight while undercover or something, and I can imagine a variety of reasons for leaving it down if she isn't in a "need every single drop of advantage I can get" situation. I have very long hair that I often leave down when I probably wasn't supposed to, and I can sympathize with it. (Though I am also bothered by this being a trend in all action heroines, including ones who wouldn't do this).

My biggest problem is how completely straight it is whilst hanging down. With her face, that style just looks flat. If it were that straight and tied back, or even just a little wavy/curly while hanging, it would look infinitely better on her. But like this? >.<

I'm not even going to start on all my rants about Steve's hair. GAGH. *wanders off rambling incoherently*

If Thor can have his hair loose, so can everyone else, right?
It's completely impractical, but it's one of the little things that I don't nitpick because flowy battle hair is badass on anyone.
