I gotta say, if I ever get into writing fanfic, squee-fic is something I'd stay waaay far away from. Check out the comments in those fics you're envying, OP. People tend to think that they have a personal connection with the author of id-fics these days and they get skeevy and creepy AS FUCK. If you want that, then you can cater to it, but lord, I know I'd rather not have 100 skeevy people telling me how wet they get when they think about my typey hands typing.
