Castle/Beckett. I never saw it coming and afaik I'm the only one who doesn't ship it.
Also Remus/Tonks. That one legit came out of nowhere.

I don't think Remus/Tonks really came out of nowhere - but I think they got pretty shitty writing, and I say that as someone who was a diehard shipper. Their arc in DH made absolutely no sense; at least it made some sense in HBP. (IMHO, but I was already a shipper, so.)

Ooh, yes, Remus/Tonks. Did they ever even interact in book 5? And then suddenly she's pining all over him in book 6. What even.

I just re-read OoTP, and actually, in almost every scene Remus is in, Tonks is in it too. He even calls her by her first name and she playfully yells at them. That indicates a friendship to me, if nothing else...

Oh, hey, shows what I know! I revise my statement to the following: "VETH IS A BIG DUMB BLUH BLUH".

Nah, it is kind of subtle. The things I never noticed...

Remus and Tonks had so much potential. I shipped them when they became canon but JKR did not pull it off well.

I know. He left her when she was pregnant, and then they died before you got to see much of them.

Really?? I understand not shipping it, but I thought it was obvious from S1 that's where they were headed.

Well it wasn't to me. I thought they'd carry on with the flirting but that they wouldn't act on it.

Ah, okay. I guess I've too many shows where they end up together, for better or worse.

I don't ship Castle/Beckett either, I like them as friends and awesome work-buddies but I never really got why they were into each other considering that they don't really have a lot in common(bar working on murder cases). I did however see it coming from the first season so I've been expecting it for a while.

Ha I actually ship Remus/Tonks, my brain just picked up on something in OoTP and my brain liked the idea of it, then hey they were canon so yay! Then they got godawful writing in DH that I mostly like to forget about.

I thought Csatle/Beckett was a pretty obvious endgame from the start and didn't mind it then, but oh how I've hated it since about season four. It's doing *a little* better now, but not near enough to make up for all the crap.
