The make-up is a plea for attention. He's starved for affection and reaching out for someone to please, please tell him how to put on mascara without stabbing himself in the eye or looking like an emo clown.

So we have to wait for a bandmember to tell him? But what if they never do?

Then we have to take matters into our own tentacles. We'll stage protests outside their concerts, with signs demanding he wash that gunk off! Start a hunger strike! Discussions in the internet forums! We will not rest until he washes that stuff off his face...or until the next season of Game of Thrones. Whichever comes first.
