I'm not sure if this counts, but even though I really, really want to get behind MCU Tony Stark/Pepper Potts, it just doesn't work on screen for me. They've got good chemistry as friends, but as lovers they seem to spend most of their time making each other unhappy and trying too hard.

Yeah, I really, really loved Pepper and the dynamic with Tony in the first movie, but after they became a couple? Nope, doesn't work for me. I still love the characters on their own, but not together.

I'd like to see them when Tony's not in the middle of a PTSD meltdown, personally. The Avengers cameo and the clips at the end of IM3 were really adorable, and while I think the relationship would always be somewhat turbulent given their personalities, I'd imagine they'd be a lot more stable and happy when one of them wasn't in an incredibly unhealthy place.

(Then again, I also ship Tony/getting some actual fucking trauma therapy, so I may be biased.)
