Yeah, if the majority of your fandom is like that. You have to associate with them to have anyone to talk to about your fandom.

God, do I ever understand that. And I'm not even male! I've just been deemed an awful person because I called out a conversation that had turned into a pity party for the beleaguered minority (that I am a part of).

But I anon up and go back anyway, because it's pretty much the only place to get current conversation on older fandoms. And then I try not to feel like a loser imposter.
