(Anonymous) 2014-03-20 12:53 am (UTC)(link)chicken eggs, half formed or not, are not really the same as a mammal's fetus. I haven't read GRRM's book, but if it involves cutting open a pregnant dog or something that is way different from eating eggs that a chicken laid.
What cultures eat dog fetuses? honestly curious if you're not exaggerating

(Anonymous) 2014-03-20 01:17 am (UTC)(link)Not dog fetuses specifically but they do eat dogs raised in tiny cages and left to starve to make the meat tender. My brother recalls being yelled at for feeding one of the caged dogs in China for that reason.
