This. Plus they at least allowed some time/eps for Piper and Phoebe to fully accept Paige into the family and not be "OMG another sister! Okay!" especially as they were still grieving Prue.

Then there's soaps like Bold and the Beautiful, which had two half - siblings suddenly unreleated to each other so they could go all kissy face with each other. I mean occassionally all soaps have done that, but when one half sibling initally thought he was the other's father...
