As bad as a movie as this is, because it's a slasher and takes major liberties, Robert Englund is my favourite portrayal of Erik. He really gets the character, and it's rare to see an interp that's so close to the book (despite the scripting issues). I would love to see a serious POTO film done with Robert as Erik because he would NAIL it.
