Yep, the new Thundercats series addressed really interesting issues. I was surprised.

So was I! They wasted no time calling out the Cats in the first damned episode and it just got better from there.

I know right? What amazed me the most is that I did NOT see that twist with Pumyra coming, and I'm usually very good at spotting those kinds of reveals. Sorta like FF7 in that it just seems like messy characterization, but the reveal makes it clear that it was deliberately messy, for good reason.
