22. It's kind of annoying when people act like they're so enlightened because they don't ship anymore. Sure, it's not all there is to fandom, but it is fun. No one is smarter or better than anyone just because they're "over" that stuff. Plenty of extremely intelligent people ship stuff and treat it in so many different ways that I think it is unfair when people act like they're all immature, over sexualized brats. Not to say that all people who don't have ships are righteous tools, but sometimes people act that way and it's annoying.

My OTP is a girl/girl pairing (hay look icon)... the only problem is? I'm a guy. And I've *tried* to write girlsmut with the two of them, but it was horribly awkward to write and I still think it's the worst thing I've written for the pairing by far. I'm a guy, the hell do I know about female sexuality (let alone with another girl?! I could PROBABLY do girl/guy from a female perspective because I've got SOMETHING to go on there, and same with guy/guy but girl/girl? Yeah, uh, I'm clueless).

So instead I write fluff. And yes, I'd much rather write cuddling and afterglow and sweetness than the actual sex (partly because of the above, partly because CUTE.)

2. Is this about that really old RP? I read the log and it was, indeed, pretty epic. Recreating RPs is a very hard thing to do, sadly. It almost never works out as well. :'(

3. I dunno about the last three but there is nothing about crushing on Jack or Brook that is not good and wholesome.

17. Kind of word. I don't think people who played it now would find it as wonderful as I did BACK IN THE DAY. And so mostly it just makes me sad that they didn't get the chance to play it when it was pretty much the most amazing thing to have ever happened. Because more amazing things than FFVII have happened now, but at the time that game BLEW MY MIND. But I think someone playing FFVII now would be like "what is this. what the crap am I playing" and not understand what the big deal was about. :'( Nostalgia sucks, yo.

42. NGE is one of my favorite series but I can understand why others will shrug it off as selfish angst via Anno's depression projected onto Shinji. It's really nothing more than that.

It's getting to the point where they're remaking it and there's talk of a new live action movie, but all of that makes me think of where FF7 is going and I really hope it doesn't take away from NGE. It feels like it's going to become that way though. Let's see how much money we can rake from the name alone, type of thinking I see happening.

Have you watched NGE for your yearly quota yet? =)

It was great, but I did get a bit of wank from the old fans for not having played it when it originally came out. I think there's still a lot of that sort of sentiment around, which is stupid. (Then again, I might react the same way to someone who is just now playing Ocarina of Time...)
