Also... I was in Costa yesterday, and there were three people behind the counter who... sort of... well. There was this girl with a stick up her ass getting pissy about some technicality involving the cash register, because apparently the girl taking orders had messed something up, and they were sniping at each other the whole time, and then pissy-girl ran off to, I don't know, go get the job handbook or something to prove she was right, so the other girl started ranting about it to inoffensive-guy-hanging-in-the-background. She scared me a little, but she was quite nice to me when I ordered. ...it made me want to write an OT3 coffeeshop AU. SUDDENLY I UNDERSTAND.

EVERYTHING GETS CROSSES OVER WITH HARRY POTTER. IT IS A RULE OF THE UNIVERSE.

It was awful and they all made it into Gryffindor except Lavi who was a Ravenclaw and Allen was muggle-born and he was SO EXCITED about magic and Kanda is extremely put upon because Allen is an idiot and don't even get his started about Crowley and how did these morons make it into Gryffindor anyway? And then in his third year Allen starts getting visions (because lololololololol eye) and his first one is about the death of his father, so he spends that summer with Lavi and when he comes back things are inexplicably awkward with Kanda. Allen also has to stop playing Seeker for Gryffindor because he realizes now that the only reason he was good at catching the snitch was because he could sort of sense where it would appear before it did, but he still goes to the practices because Kanda is a Beater and he will always have An Eternal Crush on Kanda No Matter What. But anyway then he goes home with Lavi again and they start up this adorable summer romance and when they come back Kanda is even more of a raging asshole and - I'm shutting up now.

But I swear, I clicked on every HP crossover I saw in the pit just to find out what houses they'd be in. People always screwed it up. Well, I mean, Allen's such an OBVIOUS GRYFFINDOR that they'd get him right, but Kanda and Lavi? Uuuuugh. I don't even want to talk about it. YOU DID IT RIGHT. THANK YOU.

Listen, making a Harry Potter crossover NOT fail spectacularly is a VERY RARE SKILL that I'm not sure I possess. D: Plus, you seem to have all this plot in your head already. That I... don't. AND DOING IT MYSELF ISN'T THE SAME. YOU UNDERSTAND THAT MUCH, RIGHT? ALSKDJS I WANT I WANT.

...but I suppose you've got enough fail going already that I can satisfy myself with those. TELL ME ABOUT THIS NEBRASKA HOMESTEADER THING NOW (if you have time). I'm still trying to wrap my head around it.

Well okay right so randomly Kanda is this homesteader n Nebraska and Allen is an apprentice to an asshole gunsmith in St. Louis except there is this really nice U.S. Marshal named Tyki Mikk who wants to take Allen on a tour of his lands in Dakota Territory. Except at that point Allen realizes that Tyki Mikk is a very bad marshal because he is taking bribes and cheating the Indians out of their lands, so Allen decides to steal all the bribe money and run away to give it back to the Indians. Except his horse ditches him somewhere in Nebraska and on top of that he manages to burn this really nice gentleman's barn down with all the money in it so now he has nowhere to go so when this gentleman presses him into indentured servitude until the barn is fixed, goddamnit, you idiot, Allen can't really bring himself to complain much. Plus he's hot. ANYWAY so then Tyki Mikk shows up and things get a little hairy but it all works out in the end and there is some really desperate sex because DEAR GOD ALLEN HASN'T HAD ANY IN WEEKS. AND SLEEPING IN THE SAME BED AS KANDA IS HELL. HELL, HE SAYS.

Name's on the secret itself, but I'll just answer XD;

It's a Chinese pop song called "Tong Hua" (Fairy Tale) by Guang Liang. The video/song... it's cheesy, but in that GOOD cheese sort of way and I agree with the secret wholeheartedly. XD;

Basically it's about this guy and girl. And she has... well, some disease that's never mentioned, but to make a very long story short, at the very beginning he's giving a concert, he takes a cell phone out and puts it down on the piano after dialing a number. And at the end, you see that the girl's in her hospital bed holding a phone and listening to the concert. And then she dies. The song itself just really goes with the video well XD; I'm not sure how well the lyrics would directly translate into English, though.

...ugh, that just sounded really cheesy. And it IS, but in the GOOD way I swear >_
