I really like a lot of lyrics but most of my favorites sound ~~edgy~~ or melodramatic if written down hahaha

or they're long, like, entire songs I just think are awesome :3

Idk the song title or artist, just heard it on TV once and thought it was great.

Yep, I listen to some very serious musical pieces. That's 'I'm Gay' by Bowling for Soup. One of my favourite bands to dance to <3

Okay, on a truly more serious note, 'Breakthru' by Queen:

Actually every line of that song is amazing. It always makes my day feel instantly sunny and cheerful.

idk even know why I like it, but I guess it just resonates with my fascination for slightly morbid stuff

A couple that have stood out to me as the saddest lyrics I have ever heard:

And really, I can just read through archives of Pink Floyd, Suzanne Vega, Vienna Teng, or Richard Shindell lyrics like they were poetry. Such amazing lyrics...

They Might Be Giants frequently makes me stop and do a double-take at the lyrics too, but for different reasons. :D
