Just over 7 inches hard. ;)

Every person with a penis who has announced their size to me (for reasons I'm still not sure of; only one of them had a reason to think he would be able to use it with me) has claimed to be 7 inches.

Isn't that about average? I imagine people much larger would be pretty rare and people smaller would lie...

HAHAHA, no, it's not average. In the U.S., average penis size is more like five and a half inches. Ditto the UK.

I think it must be very hard to know where to start to measure from. You could get a result a few inches either side.

We used to tell each other everything. After a while, that really had to stop, although there's still the occasional tmi.

I tried to be really cool about the 7 inches thing at the time, in case it gave him some sex-negative vibe or something. Now he's got a wife, and I sometimes look at her and think 'I know exactly how many inches you're getting'. But I try not to think about it too much, quite hard.

:P I find this amusing.

But knowing things like that usually doesn't bother me. (the wife thing. not the brother thing. that would be very, very weird.)

Sure, it's average. But that's taking into account that the average is just the summed difference of the highest and lowest numbers, essentially.

The modal size (ie. size that most men actually have) is around 6-7 inches, according to a few different studies.

Just like the average amount of sexual partners a person will have in their life time is supposedly 8 for men and 6 for women, but the male average is skewed high because of some dudes reporting (probably false) numbers of upwards of 500. In reality the modal number for both is around 5.

The average must take into account every reported penis, anon.

That includes <2" micropenises (which can happen in various genetic conditions), and the rare 12-13" monsters that some people are swinging around. It is my understanding that micropenises are more common than the uncommonly large variety.

Sure, and I could dig up citations from old statistics classes too, but I don't really care. No one survey is the be-all or end-all of studies.

tmi i guess but personally 7 is almost too much for me bc im really petite and longer lengths just give me bad cramping, to the point where its not worth the sex at all, so i think its rly funny that literally every single guy likes to claim hes 7 inches cuz i dont personally find that sexy

Sometimes I think men should really research what makes a woman tick before they start throwing 'facts' like their penis size around. Same goes for women by the way, why a lot of them think that all men like skinny chicks is beyond me...

That's why when I write smut, I don't give measurements. One woman's "Oh YEAH" is another woman's "OW!". Let the reader put in their own personal, preferred size. :)
