I was disappointed searching for fanfics and 99% of it was for SnK is Levi/Eren. Most of it is OOC with Eren as uke-trope who is all meek and fanboys over Levi. So, no thanks.

Despite there being so many characters in SnK and a more complex plot than Free! there is not much variety when it comes to SnK fandom unfortunately. *bitter laugh*

At least with Free! people are truer to the characters and their relationships, and I've seen more variety.

Yeah, I'm still a little bit surprised that ship ended up as the front runner. I figured it would have a fair amount of shippers but I initially pegged Eren/Jean as becoming the juggernaut (fandom loves rivalmance after all). I still don't know what happened. Maybe a lot of Jean fans were too caught up in Jean/Marco, idk.

lol, that was my expectation as well. I haven't been so dead wrong about a fandom since I predicted that Scott/Stiles would be the most popular pairing in the Teen Wolf fandom. I was...pretty off.
