Phoenix/Edgeworth from the Ace Attorney series.*

I admit, at one point, I did slash the hell out of them over the subtext, but the more I looked at their relationship, the more I realized they're more like brothers than lovers.

Not just because subtext is all over that series (seriously, the subtext alone would make everybody canon-bi), but because Phoenix is canonically straight, Edgeworth shows zero interest in romance and is married to his work, and their only interest in each other seems to involve hanging out occasionally and having each other's backs (...not butts).

*Yeah, I said it. And I still hold to the belief post-DD.
