Tell me about it. Holy embarrassment squick! When I know a scene's going to go *so* sideways for a character, or when they're doing something unsavory, I end up pausing so I can wince and prepare for the inevitable.

The only way I can be 100% ok with watching a character do something underhanded is if it's supposed to be a skeevy character.

I also hate it when someone's huge misunderstanding (because of being lied to) and/or public humiliation (because of aforementioned misunderstanding, or because of a rumor or something like that) is played for laughs. It makes me feel so awkward.

The show does seem to be veering into the "drama for the sake of drama" category that doomed The Lying Game, where you could tell they were just stretching the "Emily doesn't want to be Sutton anymore" plot out well beyond conceivably reasonable lengths.

That said, it hasn't quite YET tripped my "oh fuck this, I'm done with this shit" button yet.
