I had to give up on this show, otherwise I might have an opinion. This comment is kinda pointless. Sorry, OP.

The show does seem to be veering into the "drama for the sake of drama" category that doomed The Lying Game, where you could tell they were just stretching the "Emily doesn't want to be Sutton anymore" plot out well beyond conceivably reasonable lengths.

That said, it hasn't quite YET tripped my "oh fuck this, I'm done with this shit" button yet.
