Also, I like how they're pretending to crowdsource the movie when you know they're just going to hire some Hollywood mucky mucks to act, write, whatever.

I also like how instead of giving us something new, Hollywood is giving yet another cartoon series a reboot. Fuck.

The movie will be worth watching, but only five years after it comes out and when I'm drunk.

Oh, of course it's all to build hype. At the most one person will be 'discovered' and play some minor part, but even that is a stretch. But stupid kids like the one you linked to will get their hopes up and tell their emo friends about their audition, and that will spread the word.

This movie is going to suck and I look forward to the fallout. I'm hoping its on the level of M. Night's Avatar: The Last Airbender movie.
