Afraid I disagree anon. Plenty of things have good ideas/backgrounds/premise that sound awesome but the execution is lacking. So with refining, practice, idea bouncing etc they can be improved on!

So it sounds like some of your ideas are good but they just need practice in the execution so the creation matches the level of good your ideas are?


Like I have so many art ideas and I'm sure some of them are good but the actual execution will fall short more often than not.

Then there's other people who will take a bad idea and make it really pretty - but the original idea is still bad so it's kind of a shallow piece of media that's nice to look at but the background idea is :/ so the overall opinion is so-so.


sooo tl;dr ideas/concepts are important, even if you need execution practice!

(I hope i properly understood what you were getting at there)
