Motivational Music! Academic Writing BS!

(Anonymous) 2014-03-22 08:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Ahoy, fandom secrets!

I have to finish writing my thesis this weekend. And I've pretty much exhausted the motivational powers of good music (baroque beatles book, ftw!); and really bad music ("Work Bitch"!? Really, brain?!). So please, if you would, link to your favorite "music to write tons of academic bullshit to".

Also, for a bonus, add your favorite bullshit phrase used to up your word-count. Mine are: "characterized by the fact that," "as will be demonstrated in the following chapter".

the pervasiveness of the antidisestablishmentarianism as seen through a Neo-Socialist perspective is a reflection of the true underlying desire of the nature of humanity.

Ludovico Einaudi on Spotify if I need to really settle in for some intensity, the Disney channel on Pandora if I need inspiration. Good luck!

8tracks is glorious. Go there and type in 'studying' and OMG. Caveat: I don't listen to that much instrumental music, so the stuff on there might be really common for all I know.

Good luck, though! :)
