I'm pretty sure season 2 will fix that. She really didn't get a lot of time in S1, not to mention that there were some moments where she was extremely intense and creepy

I'm kind of curious what your objections are to DC/Marvel, because I would think a lot of issues would wind up being present in Wildcards as well.

Maybe it's just that I don't really care for Wildcards though.

It is actually really easy to fake enthusiasm for a fandom. Wikipedia and news stories are your friend! Or, just find something else you two have in common to talk about.

I really liked the concept and the worldbuilding, and a lot of the bits and pieces were fun, but I wasn't really excited by any of the characters, with the possible exception of Lobsang. They were just kind of meh.

It kind of felt like a universe in search of a plot. It brainstormed a bunch of potential plots, dabbled in a scattering of them, but never really committed to any of them. And the ending felt... gratuitous? Forced? Tacked on to show that this one plot we messed with a bit really was a big plot, see how important it is?

I've had the sequel for months and haven't read it yet (except the end).

I've never actually heard someone say why Saga is good. They just say that it's good, and then they say it has a lot of nudity.

That said, "indie comics" isn't so much a category as the lack of a category. It covers enough different genres that it seems kind of odd to say you don't like them.
