I'm not sure where you're getting that. The anime has been faithful to her scenes in the manga. They can't include everything and I don't think that scene really showed us anything new about her character.

That scene wasn't cut, the anime hasn't reached the point where it even could happen. I don't get why that's such a hard concept for some fans to grasp.

TBH most of the priest drama I can't even remember the content of, let alone when it happened. I would assume the same for other people but the OP apparently found it interesting.
