Pretty much. I don't even bother to read the majority of the comments on my posted secrets anymore. People will take issue with anything. I've posted secrets that meant a lot to me and were hard to admit. The people who responded back only wanted to pick a selfish fight with me, as though my personal thoughts were directed solely at them. Some of the people are awesome here, but many need to grow up and understand that not everything is about them.

This. After one of my secrets resulted in people insulting me and calling me names, I decided to just give up and skim past the comments on mine.

I never read the comments on my secrets.

But then I don't post many either. I think arguing with the OP is seen as part of the fun. I don't know if I would like it but I know it does make it less fun if I have to ignore fs that day because I don't want to accidentally see the comments.

There are some around these parts that do have the tendency to take things personally.

Secret: "There are people in X fandom that do ABC and they annoy me."

Comment: "I'm in X fandom and I don't do that! How dare you say I annoy you!"
