Saga does appeal to me in a big way. It's only the cost of it holding me back.

For about 10 years I spent most of my disposable income on comics. I've still got them in stacks and they're a great read. Happy times. But I have other things that need money now.

Speaking of which, I cannot understand people who buy comics digitally, but don't read the small print and realise they're only hiring access to them. What's the point of a comics book you can't re-read in 20 years time?

Sorry for the rant. Not aimed at you.

I buy digital just so I don't have stacks of comics everywhere like I used to. Then if I like the series enough I eventually pick up the trades. Pricy, but convenient.

There are ways of backing them up (even if the publish doesn't provide a way), so you can keep your own copies. I still by mostly physical, but I've started dipping my toe in the digital pool.

Buy the volumes? More physical comic for less cash

I'd suggest trade-waiting or even just checking out the trades from your library, if they have them (and req'ing them if they don't.)
