Maybe it's because I'm not a writer (God, I'm a shit writer), but when I come across a fic that has problems I either continue reading and do my best to ignore or forgive them, or just stop reading. I don't think it's worth getting upset over. If the author wants concrit go ahead, and even if they don't concrit isn't the worst thing, but it's up to you if you want to go through with it. Some people respond better to it than others.
