Same. It sounds so...idiotic.I have never heard anyone outside of the internet use that term.

Agreed. At first, I always think it's a typo, someone trying to type "us" (as in you and me, not u.s.) and going horribly awry. Even when I figure out what they're trying to say, it strikes me as exceptionally idiotic.

And I'm going to flash my non-American credentials here - Canadian, BTW, so no, I'm not personally offended by it, but I do think it's dumb.
